Not at all. All of our classes are beginner-friendly and designed to guide you step by step.

Kin Pottery Works is located on the first floor via a set of external concrete steps. If you have any access requirements, please get in touch before booking and we will do our best to help. We are hoping to provide lift access in the future.

There is parking on site at Centenary Business Park, but it can get busy during peak hours. There is on-street parking available around Little London Road, Athol Road and Woodseats Road.

We offer a range of classes, some of which are dedicated for children. Handbuilding sessions are suitable for 10+. Wheel throwing classes are suitable for 12+. Each person needs their own ticket, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Friday evening BYOB social classes are designed for 18+ adults.

Absolutely. Our classes are designed to be small, relaxed sessions making it easy to settle in.

We recommend comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy, and closed-toe shoes. For wheel-throwing, long hair should be tied back for safety.

Your work will be dried, fired and glazed by us, unless you choose to return to the studio to hand-paint them yourself. Pieces are usually ready to collect within 4 week. We’ll email you once they’re ready to collect.

Yes, we offer private sessions for birthdays, team events and special occasions. Please get in touch with us for details.

Yes, we offer studio membership options for those who would like regular access to the studio. To submit your interest, please get in touch via our studio member enquiry form. Members need to be confident working independently and must have completed a course, either at Kin or elsewhere, prior to signing up,

Bookings are non-refundable. If you need to cancel more than 7 days before your session (14 days notice for courses), we’re happy to transfer your booking to another available date. If you cancel within 7 days of the session, we’re unable to offer a transfer or refund. If you cannot attend, you’re welcome to send someone else in your place — just let us know their name in advance.
