Looking for a fun place to get creative with your friends? Whether you’re planning a hen or stag party, baby shower, birthday celebration or a relaxed get-together with friends, our studio offers a unique and memorable way to celebrate. Enjoy a hands-on pottery session in a bright, welcoming space where you can create, chat and spend time together.
We’ll guide you through the process with a relaxed, social approach — no experience needed — and can tailor the session to suit you. Extra options include drinks, nibbles and special touches to make the occasion feel truly personal.
Our studio is located in Abbeydale - a haven of independents cafes, restaurants and bars - making it the perfect location for you to continue the celebrations.

When you arrive, we will get you settled with a drink and provide you with aprons. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink!
Our tutor will welcome everyone, introduce the 2.5hr sessions, explain the firing process and any health & safety information before carrying out a demo of the pottery techniques, depending on your choice of session.
Next the group will begin to make and decorate their pieces.
About 10-15 minutes befoe the end, you will clean up and have a chance to pick your final glaze.

To book your party, please fill out the form on this page or send us an email: info@kinpotteryworks.co.uk. After your booking is confirmed, we will send you an invoice and calendar invitation. We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Full payment is required at least one month in advance to for timely planning and materials orders.
Payment includes a 20% non-refundable deposit.
You must give us a weeks notice before the event to adjust the number of participants.
If you need to cancel less than a week before the event, only 50% of the total fee will be refunded.
Please note that no refunds will be issued for participants who do not attend on the day of the event.
If, for any reason, we are unable to go ahead with the event, you will receive a full refund.
