Join us at the studio for a relaxed morning of clay, creativity and a cuppa. Previously known as “Clay + Coffee” — now Handmade at Kin, with the same relaxed, creative pottery experience you know and love.

Our 2-hour hand building sessions are a gentle introduction to working with clay, perfect for beginners, families or anyone looking for a slower, more mindful way to spend a morning. You’ll be guided through simple techniques such as pinch and slab building, with the freedom to explore and create at your own pace alongside others.

Slow down, get your hands in the clay and make something special. Our relaxed, seasonal handbuilding workshops are a chance to try something new, get creative and spend a couple of hours making at Kin. No experience needed.

After the session, your pieces will be clear glazed and fired by us, ready for collection in 4-6 weeks time. One main piece or two smaller pieces are included for firing and glazing, with additional pieces available at £5 per item.

Come along on your own or with friends and family. Suitable for ages 15+. Younger makers ages 5–14 are welcome at a reduced rate of £30 when attending alongside a participating adult.
