2.5HR WHEEL THROWING WORKSHOP

Our wheel throwing classes are the perfect introduction to the world of pottery.

This 2.5 hour class will teach you the basics of wheel throwing, including learning to centre the clay and ‘pull’ walls. You will be guided by one of our tutors, with support throughout the session. These intimate classes are for up to 8 people, ensuring plenty of individual support throughout. The perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and meet like-minded creatives.

You will be able to select up to 2 pieces to fire, which will be glazed in the studio by a technician ready for you to collect in a few weeks. Any other pieces you have made during the session will be reclaimed and the clay will be recycled so that nothing goes to waste.

Please note:
Suitable for ages 12+ (children to be accompanied by an adult). Shorter nails are recommended for wheel throwing.
