“4-week course”

Our 4 week course is ideal for those who are new to clay or for those wanting to develop their skills further. This course runs once a week over four consecutive weeks, with each session 3 hours long.

The first two sessions will be focused on the basics of throwing on the wheel, including how to centre and pull a form, before moving on to shaping your piece. In the final two sessions you will turn your work and glaze your pieces in a selection of our house glazes.

There is a maximum of 8 places per class, giving you plenty of time with one of our tutors.

We recommend taking the 4-week course for those who truly want to experience all the elements of pottery, or those who are looking to become a studio member and make pottery part of their routine. You will be working alongside the same faces each week, providing an opportunity to meet new people and become a part of the Kin Pottery Works community.

Suitable for ages 16+ . Shorter nails are recommended for wheel throwing.
